This photograph, taken close to the Main Gangway, was perhaps taken during a lunch-hour, since overalls were not permitted to be worn in the Works Canteen, so had to be removed before going there; also, the machine is idle. Connecting rods can be seen in a cage pallet behind the man's right hand, whilst others can be seen lying on top of a cabinet in the foreground. The gearboxes which can be seen in cage pallets stacked in the background, are on the Gearbox Assembly Section, which was on the other side of the Main Gangway. Who is this man and who are the other employees seen in views 1 to 3 ... can any one help please?
